  1. in order to have a "criminal record" one must have been found guilty of a crime. there is no way to remove that.

  2. You can have your record sealed (expunged). Contact an attorney in Michigan they will be able to help. Some crimes cannot be sealed usually s*x crimes and murder being the top two. Alot depends on you record before and after the crime also. Sealing the record doesn't take it away totally law enforcement can still view the record if their is a need, but employers and regular people cannot. The cost should be less than a thousand.

  3. Depends on what you are trying to do. In some states and under certain conditions you can have a record sealed or reduced (say from a felony to misdemeanor). If you are trying to make it go away all together. Nope. It will always show on your FBI record.

  4. The only way that you can remove any felony criminal record is if you were a juvenile when the crime was committed and you were not tried as an adult.

If you were an adult when the crime was committed you just have to live with it.

You don’t have to repeat that type of behavior though. If you apply for a job, I suggest being honest up front and telling them that you realize you have made a mistake but you are now ready to on with your life and not make the same mistake twice. People are more willing to accept a person who made a mistake if they admit it.

If your crime was a misdemeanor, check with the court house in the county that the crime was committed, some may be able to be expunged but others no way. The laws on misdemeanors vary from state to state.

  5. Join the French Foreign Legion.  6 years.  They let you pick a name and give you a french citizenship after the allotted amount of time.  You can start over so to speak.

  6. First, If you where found guilty of the crime, it can't be removed.

If, you where only arrested then charges were dropped against you, yes you can.

This is what you call an expungment of records, @ a cost of about 1,200.00-1,500.00 depending on the crime.
