Removal of adhesive tape on white lab coat?

take a clean white cloth drop a bit of nail polish remover and rub till it comes off.

Also you could rub a few drops of dish washing detergent on the wet lab coat and then scrub it  - rinse with hot water.

both methods should work.

A product named Goo Gone should work.  Walmart, Target, Kmart and similar stores should have it. Not sure what you include in simple home remedies --- you might try rubbing alcohol.  Also applying heat may help.
