  1. petrol disolves chewing gum, if it disolved paint you've have no paint left on the bodywork below the filler cap!

  2. freeze the gum, then it should peel right off.

  3. try using some tar remover

  4. try some lighter fluid. it should loosen it up. JUST DONT LIGHT IT. lol

  5. This is a sure thing...Try to wipe it with a cloth with kerosene or gasoline it wouldnt damage the paint from your car.

  6. Wipe it off with a rag with a bit of petrol on it. Petrol will disolve the gum but will not bring the paint off.

  7. Use peanut butter, It's not going to take your finish off and will lift the Gum off in seconds,

  8. put it in the shade and use ice to freeze it off

  9. freeze it then it should flake off. Remember Gum is softer than paint it can even be scraped with a ice scraper then rewax the bonnet so other gum chewers don't leave you a sticky mess.

  10. try looking here...

  11. Try taking an ice cube and freezing the gum.  Make sure the gum turns rock hard, then pick it off.  Unless the gum has set into the fabric this has always worked for me.

  12. I would wait until the bonnet is cool then try some WD40 this seems to shift tar so fingers crossed it should work with the gum. Don't forget to wash and apply a liottle polish after god luck
