  1. The easiest way to bypass content blocking is by using a web proxy from the first link below.  Another way to bypass restrictive blocks is by using an Open Proxy (see second link).  The Tor network is another method used to bypass content blocking.  These might be run by untrusted parties so I don't recommend using them unless you know what you're getting yourself into.

Many times you can bypass content blocking in the office by simply booting into another operating system (see note 2).  This gives the added advantage of no cashed data on the computer itself.  From a LiveCD you can change the proxy settings in the browser.  Although your data will still be traveling through a potentially untrusted party, at least it will not be tracked by your boss (see note 1) I recommend using Puppy Linux 3.01 because it is easy to use and comes with most things you need "out of the box" for 100Mb of CD space.

Note1: If you're not using Tor your traffic (because it's not encrypted) can be seen by anyone with access to it (IT people, etc).  I recommend using Tor with Puppy Linux -- the tor package provided by the link below is older than the newest version (shouldn't matter for what you're using tor for.)

Note2: Most times you should be able to boot into another OS no problem.  Sometimes the CD rom drive will not be the first to boot so you'll have to change that through the BIOS (see below link). Sometimes you will have to remove the CMOS battery from the box to remove the BIOS password and allow booting from CD.

You can try to get access to someone selling VPN service -- search Google for various providers.

Try to find an open network near you that you can steal wifi from.

If none of the above works you're pretty much SOL.

Of course none of this speaks of the moral/legal issues of bypassing content blocks.  You might get fired from you job in a worst case scenario.

  2. Use some web proxies and it might work.

Just google search web proxy and it should give you thousands.

If your work has it blocked then no way around it.

Just a note that even if you get around it your company computer admins might have put in a keylogger and so it can track everything you do anyway.
