Remove Custom Content in Sims 2?

My game is crashing from CC I installed off the Exchange. I removed all CC from my Downloads folder, but when I run the game, I still have the option to play with or without CC. These items are not in my Downloads folder and they are files that I got off www.sims2.com like they race car bed and custom cars, etc. Are they in another folder?

They may of been downloaded into a temp folder which will now have been deleted but the cc will still be there, try this program to get rid of the CC http://sims2pack.modthesims2.com/

If you can play your game at all, with what CC is left you can go to the buy mode and find the objects that are left in the game. Click the object like you are going to buy it, and you will see in the low right corner of that objects menu will be a little trash can. You can click that with the object you want to delete selected and remove it from the game permanently.
