Remove HoodPad and spray paint inside of the hood!!!!?

i want to remove the hoodpad and is there anything i can spray on the inside if my hood of my 2003 mustang steeda to help it not melt the inside of the hood. ive seen alot of mustangs with out the hood pad and they are daily driven and they dont have the hood melting i need to know the steps to take to spray the inside of my car hood after i take the hood pad off. all the mustangs hoods dont have the hood pad and the inside of the hodd is extrmely shiny on mustang i want mine like that so tell me what i should do.

Actually you should have asbestos lining under hood which is for safety and also noise reduction in car.

The hood insulation is solely for noise control, if you don't mind a little more engine noise just remove the pad, clean and prep the underside of the hood like any other panel and paint it.
