Remove black lines when filming a TV?

Hi i wna record some ps2 footage and i want to record it from my tele, problem is when i record black lines appear...what are they and how do i remove them?

Your TV and camera aren't synchronized. Tube TV's actually have to draw each horizontal line, and it completes a whole screen 60 times per second (50 in Europe). And it has to do it continuously because the image fades out.

You should record your PS2 with a VCR or DVR. If your VCR is the one with the black lines, sound like macrovision, where the TV doesn't react quickly to sudden changes, but a VCR do. You can also try using a camera, and a LCD TV.
