Remove forks off a motocross bike?

hi i have a cr 125 and a rm 85 and i need to get my forks revalved and rebuilt. i took the screws out of the tripple clamps but the forks are too hard to come out. im thinking about taking a rubber hammer and hammer them out but im not sure is there an easier way?

  2. get a manual it will take you through the stages of how to take yor forks and anythink else yoy need to need to know

  3. assuming the front tire is suspended ( or off the bike ) and the bike properly supported. remove all the bolts that hold the forks in place you can apply some wd40 and let is saok in between the fork tube and the clamps. also you can try very gently spreading the clamps apart with a sturdy flat blade screwdriver and twisting the fork tube... good luck

  4. Thats the way they come out dude, hammer them out. Their forks man, they can take a pounding. Your mallet will not damage them.
