Remove minor car scratches?

So I'm an idiot and just used the rough side of a sponge to get stuff off my car and left little scratches on it. What can I use to get them out? I've read about things called scratch-x and other scratch removers, but what works best? Thanks!

buy the paint that matches your car.  comes in a small jar with a brush.  touch up paint
