Question:

Remove my amalgams? why?

I have four amalgams that vary in age but some may date back as far as 10 yrs. two on top, two on bottom.

How much do you think it would cost to remove them and replace them with something safer? Do you think this is a good idea?

  1. Hi, I had my replaced about 4 years ago, my dentist was pretty costly, but I had insurance at the time. I don't now so I ask if I can have a cash discount.  Insurance companies pay a set fee, so if you can find a way to see what an insurance company will pay you can offer the same price at  your dentist. Now with the economy so down, I am surprised how willing everyone is to bargain!! GOOD LUCK

here is some info on the fillings
