if you have to leave a group via the e-mail unsub command, expect delays-

if you can

go to this link http://groups.yahoo.com/mygroups click edit my groups on the top left- locate group (if there's more than one) under the last column Leave Group, check small box - click save changes

Do you want to delete an e-mail message that you sent to the Group, or do you want to unsubscribe from the Group?

If it's the former, then log in to your Group on the web.  Then click on Messages on the left-hand side of the page.  Then find the message from you that you want to delete and click on its Subject line.  Then click the Delete link (next to the Forward link) near the upper-left-hand corner of the message text; confirm on the next page that you really do want to delete it.

If you want to completely leave your membership from the Group, then log in to your Group on the web and go to its home page.  Then click Edit Membership in the middle of the top line (just below the ad if there is one).  Down in the lower-right-hand corner of the resulting page willl be a Leave Group button; click it, then follow the directions on the next page.

To leave the group:Go to the group's site, click on edit membership along the top. In the next window scroll down and check leave group Click save changes and you should be out. It may take a day to take effect.  If you just don't want mail make that selection in the same window and click save
