Remove paraffin wax from shower drain?

My shower drain is clogged with paraffin wax. I opened the hot water and it helped a little, but the shower is still clogged. Any recommendations will be greatly appreciated. Please help!

You might need to use a plumbers snake to break it up.  I suggest calling a plumber and asking if doing so would end up causing more serious problems.
