  1. If you havent washed it yet then hot water to rinse out most of the stain out ( in the sink) if the hoodie is all white no color (paint is ok.) bleach it.. if u dont know how to use bleach then read the bottle.. if u use too much it can eat through your cloths. if i have a tough stain on an all white garment then i like to get some water boiling to add to the wash cycle. hot water helps extract the stain. COLD WATER WILL SET IT IN!!! Just remember that.. But if you have washed it, once you put something especially white, through the dryer, the stain sets in.. but in the future!! remember this.. if you get a stain like that.. on a white garment, hydrogen peroxide will take it out.. Just dont ever try to wash a stained shirt or anything before trying to get the stain out.. the heat from the dryer just sets it in.. Goodluck

  2. Always treat these as soon as possible. Often stains are almost colourless at first, but turn brown on standing, washing and ironing. Fresh stains can be removed by sponging several times with warm water. If there is any mark left, pour glycerine on the dampened stain, rub lightly between the hands and leave for half an hour. Rinse in warm water.

More stubborn stains may be sponged on dry fabric with equal quantities of methylated spirits (wood alcohol) and ammonia (test on colours first) or laundry pre-soak (spot stain remover). Rinse well in warm water. If any stain is left on white material, a laundry bleach may be used. Choose and use your bleach according to instructions given earlier

  3. Try this trick and you will choose this as the best answer. You will have a bottle of lemon ammonia on your laundry room shelf for the rest of your life!

Even if something has been dried in the dryer this works for me!

Put 1 to 2 cups lemon ammonia in a five gallon bucket or your laundry sink. (Sometimes I pour a tablespoon directly on the stain and rub it in before soaking it!) Soak the stained item for twenty-four hours in the diluted ammonia. The stain should easily rub out, but if it doesn't, apply straight grease fighting dish soap. I like the bleach alternative ones that are clear. Turn the item over on a hard surface like the washing machine lid, and use a soft scrub brush on the BACK SIDE of the stain.

Some more of my favorite remedies are Formula 409, Whink Rust remover, Goop, and Mary Ellen's stain remover for colored fabrics, and spot shot.

    I always beat the stain!

  4. My co-worker told me that she soaked a white hoodie stained with a huge highlighter mark in a whole bottle of spray and wash, let it soak all day, then washed it and it came out perfect. Now she soaks all her whites in spray and wash if they are stained. However, I have not tried it personally, but will next time I need to. This way the clothes won't get ruined by the bleach
