Having a hard time removing the rear rotor. Does it just slip on, or need to be unbolted?

  1. they unbolt but you will have too remove you axle and wheel bearings first.  then you can unbolt the rotor.  if you are having them turned you will need to leave them bolted to the hub.  the best way is to always get a manual a Chilton's or any service manual on that truck it will never steer you wrong

  2. dish brake you and look at it if you remove caliber it should slide off.. if its a hub you will need to back off the brakes and pry and hit it with a hammer.. if it has bolts remove them.. you dont have to remove axle sorry to do any brake of any kind that i ve done brakes for 40 yrs
