Remove the winding stem/crown.

Question

I have a Fossil AM3982, ladies watch. The numeral 2 at the 12 position has come off and is floating around. I have removed the back and the plastic insulator exposing the battery. now how do I remove the stem to remove the works to gain access to the face? Thanks Joe
