Removing Gym Chalk from carpet?

Question

We have a gym where we use chalk to keep our hands dry but we also have chalk that gets everywhere in the carpets on the floor, we have to buy a vacuum every 2 months cause the dust just messes them up any suggestions? We haved tried water system (rainbow) works better but because chalk is a non wettable product it does not stay in the water so most of it still comes out please help

Try sprinkling a carpet cleaner powder on to the carpet prior to vacuuming

OR

Use a bag less vacuum and put some damp saw dust or saw dust sprayed with cheapo hair spray or saw dust sprayed with Pam cooking spray into the canister prior to vacuuming  - the  saw dust will capture the chalk dust .
