I'm using Vista on Laptop. I am trying to remove a program from my shortcuts and the recent programs menu. I have already removed the file from the Hard Drive and Intsalled programs list. Except I can't remove these other two bits.

Whenever I try to remove the shortcut. It say location not found verify location or whatever.

Please help! I really need to get rid of this.

Will I have to download the program again just to get rid of the shortcuts?

  1. Try using CCleaner. It cleans all the c**p from your system including invalid shortcuts. Download it from www.ccleaner.com.

Its absolutely free.... when ever you install software it leaves unwanted files<Junk> even if you uninstall it.... so run this  software. its less than 1mb..
