Removing a large spruce tree?

what should i expect to pay for the removal of a 15-20 foot spruce tree from my frount yard?

If I lived around your house it would be gone for 250.00 but there's a lot of things to consider that I don't...........It's either cut or pulled depending on access.......and the root stays if I can't pull it........but I would cut it off in the earth and cover over.

Prices are based on access, difficulty of removal, distance for disposal, any permit to remove the tree (yes, some communities require that), stump removal, etc.

I'd only be guessing, but I wouldn't be surprised if it reaches four figures.

15 to 20' is not that big, but still produces a lot of branches to grind. And also the stump, ground out or not?

Rough guess - about$300-$400. Call around and get several quotes.
