Removing a small worn out s***w?

How do i remove a small s***w (usually unscrewed with a size 00 screwdriver) that is completely worn out and attached to some electronic hardware with less then 3 inches to operate....so now long or any sort of power tools.

  1. I don't think they make EZ-Out bits small enough for this s***w.  Would it be sensible to drill the head off, leaving the s***w shaft in place?  Sometimes enough shaft is sticking up so that you can remove the shaft with pliers.


  2. I'd probably investigate GRABIT bits, EZE OUT, whatever trade/brand name.

  3. put a little comet powder on it  then try to get it out
