I'm trying to remove a speaker from a portable radio. I have removed the front of the radio and have access to the back of the speaker, however it is glued down pretty firmly. I have tried to remove the glue from the back but it wont budge. I need the front of the radio so i dont want to cut it out and i need the speaker to work so i dont want to force the speaker out. Not sure what to do. Any ideas?

  1. You might try a small screwdriver or knife and just pry it out.  You may damage either the radio or the speaker, but if it is that important to you, you might as well go for it.

  2. Try using a hair dryer to heat up the glue to see if it softens up.

  3. i would use a stanley knife and cut around the speaker through the glue
