Removing book ink?

Question

I'm trying to remove ink that is printed on the page of a book. I have tried bleach, rubbing alcohol and acetone as well as "M-1 remover" which says it removes printed ink but didn't work (it was xylene and something else. I don't really care if it smudges but i would like the paper to remain intact. Any ideas? thanks.

ibelieve i saw a product at cvs called ink away yesterday, maybe thatll work

If alcohol, acetone, and xylene didn't work, i doubt anything will.  Sorry.
