Removing date from picture?

i have a canon powershot a540 [digital camera] and in the bottom right corner, it says the date the pic was taken on in orange. but i think it looks ugly and i want to know if it's possible to remove the date from the pic? and if so, how?

  1. The only setting on the Canon for date stamp is when the picture resolution is set to postcard (1600 x 1200), or Medium 2 on your camera.. If you change the resolution to something else, it will go away.

    Try changing the picture resolution to Large:2816x2112 pixels.


  2. You can set the camera to not but the date on your pictures.However you can't remove the date once it is on the picture without photo editing software.

  3. i think that cameras have like, those menu things, like..settings, yeah.

    and search through all the settigns and then find the one with the date thing.
