My daughter smeared neosporin cream on our new microfiber couch. What can I use to remove it? Thanks,

  1. Some of that hand cleaner cream you find in the automotive department will safely remove the petroleum stain. Gently rub in with a soft cloth and then rub out with a damp soft cloth (an old sock works nicely too). It is made to break down grease and petroleums as they are very common for use around vehicles and safe enough for your hands so it shouldn't hurt anything. Another option is to use Simple Green which is also safe and found in the automotive department. I have used both of these options on clothing as well so it should be fine. Avoid things such as goo b gone and oops as they will leave an even worse grease stain than before.
