Question:

Removing rights in order to keep them?

I'm doing research for school based on the resolution, "The removal of rights guaranteed by the US Constitution is necessary to maintain balance in a Democratic society."

Can anyone give me examples or issues that relate to the removal of certain rights and freedoms so that others can be upheld or preserved? Thanks

  1. Imminent domain allows a community to take private property through legal means in order to allow proper development of said community, such as roadways, sewage systems etc.

Just compensation for property owner is the key here.  It hurts to give up one's home, but nothing is forever.

  2. like having security cameras in bathrooms of our schools (wow) for no fighting and when one right is gone the rest will follow
