Removing the crown

Question

I am trying to remove the crown from my Timex indigo watch so i can replace a digit that had come loose from the face.So far I have removed the case back. The movement is now loose but is prevented from being taken from the case by the crown shaft/stem.Can anyone tell me how to remove this?
