I have a rabbit show coming up soon and one of my rabbits loves to "spray" urine causing his fur to get the yellow stains. Does anyone know any at home things i could use to get the stains off?

  1. Try purchasing a shampoo formulated for animals with light/white coats.

If you can't find something for dogs - you can always purchase something marketed for white horses or cats.

Either that - or try finding a 'green spot' wipe meant for either horses or dogs.  They help with both grass stains and urine stains.

If you can't find any of THOSE - buy the wipes that are meant to help remove tear stains on dogs.

    Those should help.

  2. Never use anything not designed for rabbits, also no matter what anyone says don't give it a bath, rabbits should never be put in water the shock can kill them. Get a rabbit shampoo in a shop or online. Use a damp, luke warm water cloth and dampen the bunny, apply shampoo, rub it in, and wipe off throughly with the cloth. Make sure none is left and the bunny is fully dry before putting it outside

  3. Mix some corn starch with mylanta and use a toothbrush to scrub it on the fur. Leave it over night, then in the morning brush it off with a brush. I use it for my show rabbits all the time and it works wonders!

  4. GET A BOTTLE OF BLUING IT IS IN THE LAUNDRY SECTION OF SUPER MARKET OR WAL MART IT IS FOR WHITE HAIR AND FUR AND CLOTHES
