Hi, basically . . .

ive just bought a renault clio grande for my first car, but i cant work out how to get the radio to work.

i understand that you need a code, but need other codes first to get that one like - serial code, product code etc.

i was wondering where do i find those? i cant see them on the front of the radio, do i need to take it out of the dash board, or are they just the cars serial number etc. either way where do i find them??

i dont really want to buy a new radio just yet.

thanks.

  1. You will have to remove the radio from the dashboard using a pair of Extractor Keys (available from Ebay, Halfords etc) and then you will find  the radio MAKE, MODEL and several SERIAL NUMBERS on the casing

  2. take it to your local Renault dealer they will sort it out for you for plus or minus 40 quid. do not listen to people telling you to remove the dashboard. alternatively go to a reputable car radio shop they can help.

    good luck
