Renault megane warning lights?

Question

There is a warning light by the side of my abs warning light on the dash that looks like an engine block. this has started flashing and my engine is now running irregulary. does any one knows what the light means and what could be the cause?

I have a Renualt Megane Cab IDE, I've had a new fuel pump & rail & three fuel regulators been replaced in the last year, i'm told the fuel regulators are faulty parts to begin with? I'm told by renault service department my car needs:- fuel pump & lines, system clean, fuel rail, fuel pressure regulator & injectors costing £3,800. The car only has 54,000 miles on the clock, but started going wrong at about 45,000. Where does the metal start breaking up & where does it go. Cheers Helen

Hi it is more than likely to be either the air mass meter just before the air filter box or the oxy sensor or as some people call it the lamba probe
