The Montpellier coach is confident that Moroccan international Younes Belhanda will stay at the Mosson for at least one more season and play in the Champions League for La Paillade
For a long time, the future of Moroccan international, Younes Belhanda has not been discussed. The youngster is currently under contract at Ligue 1 champions Montpellier Herault.
For the Moroccan, now is the time for a well-deserved vacation. However, behind the scenes, there are still many clubs who want to lure him away from the Mosson this summer.
Officially, Paris Saint-Germain have said that they will not be looking to sign the player this summer. PSG president, Nasser Al-Khelaifi sent a present to Montpellier president Louis Nicollin last week to congratulate him for winning the Ligue 1 Championelle.
Belhanda is no more the priority of the Parisians. However, that is not the case with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan who are keen on bringing the talented player to the San Siro.
Nicollin and the rest of the club’s staff are hopeful that Belhanda stays for next season. While talking to Canal + Sport, coach Rene Girard said that he is confident that Belhanda will stay at the club. The Frenchman also added that playing in the Champions
League will further convince the player to stay at the Mosson for one more season.
“Younes will be with us next season. In sporting terms, I will advise him to stay another year with us. He has moved to a difficult position. Champions League may allow him to stay with us a while longer.”
However, if a club comes up with a great offer, Montpellier Herault may consider letting go of their prized asset this summer.
