Proud of his men, Montpellier Herault coach, Rene Girard said that he enjoyed his team play against FC Girondins de Bordeaux who certainly gave the league leaders a hard time throughout the game.

Throughout the game, Montpellier were tested to the limit by http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Francis-c13946 Gillot’s men. On a day when it was not simple, Montpellier avoided to commit any mistakes despite running a Bordeaux side that has turned a new leaf since the turn of the new year.
However, Girard is wary about his side’s chances of winning their first-ever Ligue 1 Championelle. The Frenchman says that the standing means his side are having a great season and is only hopeful for it to continue.
After the game against PSG last week, it was certainly not easy to be chained before a solid side like Bordeaux and Montpellier had to be patient for a goal.
Girard also says that the crowd really helped his players until the end of the game which played a big factor in the win that has given his side a single-point lead over Paris Saint-Germain.
“We won a great, great victory that I enjoyed. I am proud of my boys. I savour it because it was a difficult match. There are days when it’s not simple and you must avoid making any mistake. We ran into a tea, of Bordeaux, that was solid and good. We learned
to be patient. This season, we are able to believe it until the end.”
The win against Bordeaux should be taken as a learning curve by Montpellier who according to many, have over-achieved this season.
