The Montpellier coach feels that Les Gones have emerged as genuine title contenders this season and their form isn’t surprising a bit keeping in mind the number of quality players they have at their disposal

Girard, while talking to reporters, stated that Lyon are the most in-form team in the league at the moment and the fact that they will be playing in front of their own supporter, would make it more difficult for his side. The Frenchman believes that Les
Gones are in good position to challenge for the Championelle this time around and Montpellier need to be at their very best if they want to get something out of Saturday’s match.
"They are a good team, they played a good match and they are in front in the race for the title.”
The 58-year-old added that Remi Garde’s side is blessed with so many quality players and the likes of Lisandro Lopez, Bafetimbi Gomis, Lovren and Bisevac can cause a lot of trouble to La Paillade when they travel to Stade de Gerland at the weekend.
The coach said that there are a number of international players at Lyon and that shows how much individual quality they have at their disposal.
"They have Lisandro, Gomis, Lovren, Bisevac, lots of internationals and lots of individual quality in their team,” the former France international told reporters.
