Rene Meulensteen, Manchester United’s first team coach has come out and praised Kagawa and said that he has been keeping an eye on the young playmaker in the Bundesliga. Kagawa was the heart and soul of Borussia Dortmund last season
as the German giants won the Bundesliga yet again leaving Bayern Munich in their wake.
Kagawa also played for Dortmund in the German Cup final where he scored against Munich to gift his team yet another piece of silverware. Now as the Japanese playmaker makes his way to the English Premier League, another challenge
awaits him at Manchester United.
Sir Alex Ferguson convinced the youngster to take on his offer at Manchester United and now Rene has come out and revealed that Kagawa is a complete player who will complement United’s style of play. The Red Devils were criticized
last season for lacking creativity in their midfield department, a problem that can be solved if Kagawa is deployed as a traditional trequartista for Sir Alex’s team.
Rene Meulensteen said, "I rank Kagawa very highly. He’s a player that I've known for a while because I keep an eye on the German Bundesliga. He's done very well over there. I think he's a player that will fit Manchester United
and complement us.”
He added, "At Dortmund, Kagawa played behind the striker which is a good position for him to play. He's got great movement, a great way to find spaces. He gets behind the opposition in the midfield which means that he can help
in possession or be direct in moving forward."
Manchester United will indeed look to add more players to their squad after the European Championships come to an end as there is speculation that Sir http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Luka-Modric-c22857 from Tottenham, a club which is in turmoil
now after the departure of Harry Redknapp and their failure to qualify for the UEFA Champions League.
