Renew passport??????

Question

my boyfriend only has a passport from when he was a child, due to a family crisis we need to get out to turkey asap, due to it only being a childs passport and hes now 26 he cant go the passport office and have a adult passport issued within a day can he?

It's highly unlikely, practically impossible to get a passport on demand.

no its treatred as a first passport  first adult) so ithe quickest it can be done is through post office check and send - two weeks, but for first passports now a lot of people have to go for an interview so it could take longer.

Yes he can, obviously he'll need photos, I Call your nearest office, they can make an appointment, which is quicker, if only marginally! it will cost more, but you need it fast so you'll have to grin and bear that!

It is possible to get a passport quickly.  You will have to use a company that can hand carry your paperwork through the regional passport office, if you don't live near one.  They will charge you an additional fee, for walking it through, that is based on how quick you need it.

I used it to obtain a replacement for my daughter's passport, and it came within 3-4 days as requested.  I used American Passport for my daughter's replacement (not affiliated with them), and they have a good rating with the BBB.  But there are other agencies out there.

I thought that was the reason for going to the office if you have a non standard application . If you do decide to go you need to make an appointment now and be there within 10 minutes of your appointment time, your nearest Passport Office of which there are seven within the UK located at Belfast, Durham, Glasgow, Liverpool, London, Newport and Peterborough.Advice line is 08705210410. good luck

no he has to apply for a new one. You might want have to pay for the fastest service which im not sure what it is now but when I did ut it took about 4 weeks. You can go into your local post office and apply for a passaport. Mine was done on the spot including pcitures but it depends on the post office. You will have to pay there too. Visit the department of state website if you need more help.

yes 08714349061 i used them its much easier they do it all for you for a small fee you can have a same day one done its worth calling them even if you plan to do it on your own just for the ideas you can get from them

I renewed my passport recently and it took less than two weeks to get a new one.  Also, my mother had to get her's under similar circumstances as he does and she was able to get it in two days time.  So, go to the passport office and visit the government website to find out all the details.

Yeah he can get a 4 hour passport which costs £114.00, as long as he's just renewing his passport...but he needs to phone IPS on 0870 521 0410 to make an appointment at his nearest office for that service.

Only adults who have NEVER had a passport before cant get urgent passports.

He might be able to phone for an appointment and si and wait for the passport to be processed.  I have a friend who has just done this but it was by appointment only.  You would be better phoning up and asking though just to be safe.  Good luck!
