Renewal of my Permanent Resident card?

I had applied for the renewal of my PR Card with family in the month of Sep 2007 as I had not finished 2 years period out of 5 years. I am still waiting for my card for renewal.

I want t know how much time it will still take ?

If my wife wants to go for an emergency what she should do ? Hope while coming back, the embassy may not create problem to issue travel document. IF SOMEBODY CAN GUIDE WILL BE HIGHLY APPRECIATED..

Call immigration and ask them about the process of your case.  If you had already been away for 3 years and not filled the 2, maybe they want to wait until you fill the 2 before they give you a new card.  Getting a PR card renewed is only supposed to take around 11 weeks so yours is way overdue.
