will i require a tenancy contract for renewal of residency visa for my wife?i stay in sharjah have dubai employment visa.

Just to clarify that this rule of tenancy contract is not only for sharjah but also for Dubai.

it is mentioned in the article that they will ask for the tenancy contract only when the person is applying/renewing visa for many family members.

So I think they will not need tenancy contract for renewal fo your wife's visa.

I think this rule is introduced for those people who sponsor their family (I mean Parents and sister or brother). Because for sponsoring so many people you need to show accomodation proof to the DNRD.

Since you mentioned that you have a Dubai employment visa I assumed that your wife is under your sponsorship and residency visa. If this is the case, she is under Dubai's procedures. What she need is a trip to Al Baraha Hospital or Kuwaiti Hospital for a medical. She needs to bring along with her 2 passport size photos, copy of passport with visa page and at least Dhs. 75.

However, she will be required to take a health card as well. It can be taken on any of those hospital mentioned.

The health card shall be delivered by Empost to the address your wife shall be filling in the form while the medical result has to be claimed with the claim stub given during the medical exam.

The resulting medical check-up form is required for residency renewal.
