Renewing a Portuguese Passport in London

Question

Hi! I'm a Portuguese national living in the UK, need to renew the passport asap, but can't get hold of the consulate - tried calling the various numbers and emailing - any suggestions welcomed!

Is it possible to just turn up at their Portland Rd address and ask for a renewal? What will I need to bring with me?
