Renewing drivers permit in PA?

My permit expires soon, what happens when i have to renew it? do i have to take the knowledge test and vision test again? will i have to wait another six months to get my license?

You will not have to retake the test or wait an additional 6 months unless you don't renew it in time.  If it is within 30 days of expiration, renew it now.

A learner's permit is valid for one year.

After one year, the learner's permit can be renewed for another year for a fee of $5.00.
