Renewing our vows next June in Mexico. Dress help please!! :)?

Question

I am a plus sized girl (a 16 regular dress size so I guess an 18 in formal wear...). I am looking for a destination dress for my vow renewal, that is under 300.00. I want something that is s**y, maybe lace, white or ivory, and a-line but without a train. Everything I have found so far is in the 800.00 range.

I have searched google.com and theknot.com with no luck. Any sugestions on where to look?

Have you tried Alfred Angelo or Davids Bridal?  They both carry the sizes that you need and they both have reasonably priced dresses. Not sure about Alfred Angelo but I know that Davids has off the rack sales all the time.

Have you tried looking for Bridesmaid dresses?

My best friend did a white Bridesmaid dress for her wedding. (she is also plus size 22) and it was perfect. Her dress was stunning and because it is a bridesmaid dress they are a lot cheaper.

You can get them in just about any colour as well. My friend opted for White.
