Reno or Sacramento, which is a better place to live and why?

If you were relocating from Denver, where would you pick to live if you could live in either city or inbetween? Why?

As someone who lives in Reno I would pick Sacramento unless you really like gambling and snow....Reno has a lot of people of closed mind, and than a great deal more of the transient//fringy variety. It is a great place for many things, but if given the option, Id go with Sac

I used to live in Reno.... I wouldn't live there again, but that is just me. They do have the benefits of the fours seasons.... but, they still have lots of snow in the winter. I was born and basically raised in Las Vegas.... we have two seasons here... hot and cold. But, with Reno.... there are some "different" types of people up there.. close-minded and not as friendly as the folks in Denver. At night, the roads are empty because the drinkers are in the bar getting loaded. I am speaking from what I have seen. I think it would be better to either stay where you are at, or, move up to Washington State where people are super friendly, they have beautiful scenery, and great coffee! =-) Good luck to you.
