Renouncing your citizenship?

How can I officially renounce my Canadian citizenship. Do I need to fill out paperwork or something of that nature? For those of you wondering why, im doing this so I can get ctizenship to the Russian Federation.

  1. Why don't you first check with the Russian Embassy to find out what you have to do to allow you entrance there. They might require you to have a profession first.

    If you are approved, then typically all you have to do file the appropriate paperwork and wait for verification from the Russian Embassy. Same with the Canadian Embassy except that you are requesting to surrender you citizenship.


  2. The Russians upon acceptance, will gladly show you how to accomplish that.
