Rent a car under 21 of age in Spain?

Hi. I'm 20 years old and want to rent a car during our holidays in spain (Mallorca, but don't worry, NO-all-inc package-tour but individual travelling :-) ). Is this possible?

minimal age to rent a car in Spain is 21 althougt some companies ask you to have 23 years old.

Most car hire companies will only hire to people over 21. However, if you've had your full licence for more than a year you can hire a car. Shop around and see what kind of deals you can get. It mght be more expensive to hire a car if you're under 21.
