Rent lottery chances?

I'm going see Rent in New York in august. Does anyone know how many people have usually been entering the ticket lottery (recently)? Or if the show has been selling out?

Sad that any lottery exists, but in some good sense, anyone wanting to see a major production, should be getting tickets farther in advance than one month.

  You say "I'm Going to See"???? Might we assume you aren't sure? Might we assume youare just in a stage of, WANT TO GO SEE?

  Best case to CHANCE it, if you have no tickets, is get them, even through ticket master, and for mid week or matinees.
