Does anyone know what the approximate cost would be for renter’s insurance for a standard 2 bedroom apartment in a quiet, Northeast suburb?

  1. Depending on how much personal property you have, between $10-14 a month.


  2. it depends on how much contents coverage you need, your credit score, any past claims, etc...renters insurance is inexpensive and worth every penny.  call a local agent and get some quotes.  try placing it with the same company you have your auto with for a multi line discount

  3. Renter's insurance doesn't cover the structure it covers your contents. For about 10-15K worth of contents coverage it's about 12-20 a month. Very cheap and well worth it.

  4. It's definitely worth the $6.00 a month that I pay. Go for it!
