Renting In Perth?

Hi ive just started university in perth, WA (University of Western Australia). I live quite far from the uni so it would mean quite alot of travelling to and from the uni. Because of this, me and a group of friends are considering renting a house or unit near the university.

We are all pretty clueless when it comes to renting, so are not sure if this is a realistic option or not. To find a place that is decently close to the uni, what kind of price would we be looking for a 4 bedroom unit/house?

  1. The UWA has a Student Services page online. Link below. It says "Housing Service offers a free and confidential service to enrolled students and staff of the University. Housing Officers do not arrange accommodation for staff or students. We can only provide advice and information; most of which can be found on this web site."

They would be the people to ask.

    Good luck!

  2. Also try one of the five accommodation colleges in Crawley.

These are Currie Hall, Trinity, St Catherine’s College, St Thomas More College and St George’s College .

  3. Renting around that area is expensive... i know many people who have to catch a train and a bus to uni, its not too difficult, and a good way to save ur money.
