I am going away in 2 weeks and have rented a Mini Van to drive to my destination. I drive a Nissan Sentra and am a bit nervous about driving a Mini Van. I have rented a Dodge Caravan. Any suggestions / things I should know / do's & donts?

Thanks!

  1. Just like you Nissan but longer> Don't turn corners close>You will get used to it> wind makes it move on the express way>When threw you might want 1>

  2. i have the same car that ur renting and ive driven it a few times ( i dont have a license yet but a permit)

first off lemme tell u that its much different from driving a regular car even tho my parents say its the same as our corolla...its different the vehicle is much larger and the transmission (if thats what u call it) feels totally different like ull feel like ur driving a large vehicle the steering wheel is much less resistant when u turn it so go easy on the turning..u have to slow down a little more on curves and turns since ur vehicle is larger.

i try to avoid driving that car bc its so large but take it easy and u should be fine like i said without a license ive driven it a couple of times...its not necassarily harder but takes a bit of getting used to in terms of handling the car.

the plus side is u'll have greater visibility of the road since ur higher up

  3. don't worry about it.

    do enjoy your vacation.

a dodge minivan, especially a new one like you've rented, drives like a large car.  it'll actually be a little faster than your sentra, but won't handle quite as well.  slow down a little more for corners and relax.  life is good.
