I am currently renting a car from enterprise. I signed up for the damage waiver and the personal accident insurance. If I get into an accident and it is my fault, is the other car involved in the accident covered? PLEASE HELP!

  1. i work w/Enterprise.  If you only signed the CDW and PAI (Damage waver and personal accident insurance) on the contract, only the rental car and yourself are insured.  If you hit another third party, your insurance will have to supply the liability portion of insurance.  The insured will be the person whose name is on the contract.  If it is yours, your insurance will have to take care of the other persons car.

    Hope I could help!

  2. They offer several types of insurance/ waivers. Take a look at the contract and see if you signed up for anything that includes liability coverage. That will cover any damage you might cause to someone else's property.

If you didn't, but you have car insurance of your own, that policy should cover you anyway.

  3. If you buy all of their insurance, of course it is covered

  4. More than likely yes, but you should read the contract you signed with them.

Deke is almost right, most insurance companies only cover your car if your covered vehicle was being repaired, not if you were renting to go on vacation, etc.
