Hello i was planning on taking a trip to ireland for my 18nth birthday and was wondering what the actual age was to do so could anyone out there give me any ideas

  1. we rented  at the airport, reserved ahead of time

       THEY DRIVE ON THE WRONG SIDE OF ROAD,  the worst part  are the rotary's (turn abouts)


  2. You will be lucky if any major rental companies will rent to you at age 18 - check with the rental company before you go.  I know that Avis and Hertz have a policy that they only rent to drivers over age 21 years which is due to the cost of high insurance claims by young drivers in Ireland.
