Renting a limo for a social?

I am renting a limo with 9 close friends and I was looking through prices and the night out package I am choosing says this:

10 Passenger Stretch Limousine

$70.00 per Hr. 4 Hr. Min + 20% Gratuity +

5% Fuel Surcharge

$280.00 + 56.00 + 14.00 = $350.00

we are only renting for 4 hours so this is perfect

but they also said there is a non refundable deposit of 100$

do they just add that to the total cost and not give it back?

or would it actually end up costing us 450$ for the night?

  1. you are paying $350.00 total

  2. The Non-Refundable deposit is paid in advance to secure the vehicle for you for the scheduled date, the deposit is applied toward the total cost of the Limo for that night... If you cancel the reservation you lose the deposit...

Another point, ALL limousine passenger capacities are MAX and you should always subtract 2 for comfort... So a supposed 10 passenger is actually an 8 and so forth, this formula should be used for any type of vehicle across the board in the industry, unless you like to be packed in like sardines, and why would you want to be anything less than comfortable in your luxury rental?...

Fuel surcharges are common in the industry however we do not charge such, so if your in the Tampa Bay area and would like a new limousine and a fun experienced Chauffeur we can help you... I have over 25 years in the business and night-life is my specialty...

Keep in mind there is a clean-up fee for vomit that varies depending on the severity of the accident and the labor involved to clean the car properly, our clean up fee starts at 200.00 so it's a good idea to make everyone aware of this and to inform the chauffeur immediately if your feeling queasy, it's better to stop and discover that the nausea passed, than to wait till it's too late and vomit in the limo... This does happen from time to time, but I have found that informing them of the expensive clean-up fees helps to deter this accident...My personal experience and advice says; Leave the Jaggermiester and the Goldschlager and the crème drinks  home, it's not something you want to drink a lot of in a moving vehicle when your subject to expensive clean-up charges... It's very popular and seems to be a common denominator in vomiting incidents...just my personal observations and advice...Have a great evening and remember if your chauffeur goes above and beyond what you feel was his duties to make your evening a special night, it's OK to slip him an extra tip above the 20% gratuity you paid in advance...

This is always appreciated by your Chauffeur...

Some of the differences in a Chauffeur and just a Driver are this; a Chauffeur will show up 10-15 minutes before scheduled pick-up time, he will come to your door and introduce himself and ask if there is anything he can carry to the car, and if you would like him to set up your beverages, he will already have plenty of ice and glasses and in our case, complimentary soft drinks and water... He will take care of these things while your finishing getting ready and he will also tell you that although he's early as a true chauffeur should be, to not feel rushed...

He will assist you into the limousine and will likely ask if your using your credit card for the charges this evening, if so he will request the card for an actual physical imprint (required by CC Co's) to reduce fraud, he'll ask you to affix your signature to the CC receipt and that he will run the total open until the end of the evening and total it out then, because although you may have scheduled and plan to use 4 hours, sometimes you want to stay later than expected or your having such a good time, that before you realize it, your into overtime.

If you haven't totaled out the receipt yet, then there is no problem to adjust the charges accordingly...If you’ve decided to pay cash, he will request this at the time of pick-up.

He will give you front door service to all of your destinations and assist you with exiting your limo professionally and offer an umbrella escort to the door for each passenger in the event of rain.

He will give you his card with his cell phone and ask that you call him when your ready to depart there and he will only be a swift moment away from the door.

He will clean the car thoroughly while you’re at your function or dinner and restock both ice and beverages and remove all trash and clean glasses and replace napkins, he may vacuum the carpet if he has access to a vacuum cleaner, the interior should basically be restored to the pick up condition every time you leave the vehicle...

I hope this helps you to know what to expect and if you receive less than the treatment I have mentioned, you had a driver, not a chauffeur.

    I hope this was helpful.
