Renting an apartment and credit score?

I don't meet the minimun Credit Score for the place i want to rent but have an excellent rental history. Will they usually rent to someone that doesnt meet this qualification only?

  1. Generally, if an applicant does not meet any one of the landlord's criteria they will be rejected.

    Some may require a higher security deposit and/or a co-signer in order to consider your application.


  2. Each Apt owner has their own criteria.

    If yo do not meet the minimums, they may either charge yo a higher deposit or not rent to you at all.

    Your best bet is to ask, otherwise you'll never know.

  3. i do not know how much your score can be rasied but this will defeinitely help you out. i went to http://offur.com/fixcredit , a totally free service that helps you raise your credit and create a plan to keep it up. its pretty helpful.
