Renting on a working holiday visa?

has any body moved to sydney on a working holiday visa whilst waiting for full immigration visa? If so were you able to easily rent somewhere to live?

Currently in Sydney there is fierce competition for rentals, whereby landlords have their pick of tenants, with many tenants entering bidding competitions to secure a place.

Realistically, your chances are slim to be selected when you are competing against locals and those with approved work visas.

Your best bet would be to looking in the Sydney Morning Herald for shared places or wait until your visa is approved.
